Stop Firefox Auto Re-Sizing Images

By default in Firefox every time you open an image it will re-size to fit within the browser window, now if you view a lot of images this can become annoying having to click on the image every time it loads to see it full size. This tutorial will change the default image size to FULL meaning that by default every time you view an image after doing this tutorial all images will display full size in Firefox and not be auto re-sized.

Here is an image to show you just what i mean, if you clink on this link Large Image you will be displayed with an image that is to big for the browser so it will be re-sized to fit, if you want to stop firefox doing this then follow the tutorial below.

Step One

Open up Firefox by using one of the methods below:
Double Click the 'Firefox Icon' on the desktop
or
Hold down the 'windows key' and Press 'R' then type in Firefox and Press 'Enter'.

Step Two

Type about:config into the address bar.

Step Three

Enter browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing into the filter bar

Step Four

Double click on this setting to change to false.

Step Five

Preference should now look like this.

Step Six

Close firefox for settings to take affect.

Finished!

Now your images will not re-size and will be full size by default, and you can now enjoy browsing the Internet and seeing all the images the way that they where meant to be displayed without having to click on them to get a full size image. this tutorial could potentially save you and unlimited amount of time.
